 Zeal (Cyrasa imp x Zest) and Zircon (Quassa x Zhola). Out on the trail again today. Took Zeal and Zircon along to the entrance of the Ostler Vineyard. This is where I work and at present, Roy Stringer is contructing the entrance to match the fabulous dry stone wall that he has built. Roy and I had a chit chat and then Roy took this photo of us. Zircon is going well and Zeal is being ridden less and less, while I ride Zircon more and more. Add Comment Thursday 10/15/2009
 Zircon and Zari having fun together. Got my old friend Zeal out of the paddock today and used her as anchor horse with Zircon for a ride along the road. Zircon went really well and Zeal was just a spectator really. Westward Ho 10/14/2009
 M M chatting to fishermen at Jackson's Bay wharf.  The wetlands and water feature at Haast Visitor Centre. The other week, Mere Male and I went for a much awaited holiday to the West Coast of the South Island. We had a great time investigating the Haast area and the tried our hand at whitebaiting. One night we stayed at a place called Hari Hari and had a spledid time rumaging about at the craft shop called The Willows. We stayed at The FlaxBush Motels on the main road and I cannot speak highly enough of the hospitality of the owners. To my horror, I realised after we had left, that I had left my copy of Arabian Horse News behind. These guys went out of their way to locate it and send it back. So, if you are travelling through Hari Hari, and need a place to stay, give the Flax Bush Motels a go, they deserve to be supported. |
